Abankwah brothers Orchard Cup final Heroes
Congratulations to brothers James and Isaac Abankwah, who helped the U13 & U15 Premier teams to win cup finals in games that were played on adjoining pitches at the AUL Complex on Saturday last.
James played in central defence for the under 13s, who beat St Josephs Boys 1-0 in the Liam Brady Cup final thanks to Craig King's early goal, while Isaac, also a central defender, scored the Orchard's goal and then netted the winning penalty as the U15s overcame Shamrock Rovers 5-4 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the Premier Cup final
