Cherry Orchard Football Club are delighted to announce that Karl Keogh will become our new Director of Football.
Karl is a former professional at Swansea City, and former League of Ireland player, and has previously worked for the Football Association of Ireland and Manchester United. Karl holds a B.A Sport & Exercise (Soccer), and B.A Sports Management & Coaching from IT Carlow, along with a M.Sc. Strategy & Innovation from Maynooth University. Karl will commence his new role with immediate effect.
Cherry Orchard would also like to welcome current academy Director Ken Brady to the role of Small-Sided games Director. Ken will work with the Director of Football to launch a new philosophy of coaching and development of the club.
We would like to wish both Karl and Ken every success in their new roles.
We would also like to thank Glenn Cronin for all his efforts in recent years with the club. Glenn done a remarkable job in his three years in charge and has left the club in a very strong position. We wish him every success.
